Hair, Make Up and Costume (KC)

MAKE UP:

In order to achieve this look successfully, I watched hair, make up and costume tutorials  (by professionals) to get it as accurate as possible.










After watching many make up tutorials, it was evident that all of these videos are similar in the way they apply their make up. All of these use a smoky eye effect, eyeliner and a dark red/purple lipstick done in a 'cupids bow'. This look can be done with simple make up.

HAIR:

As you can see, from these videos the hairstyles of these girls are above shoulder length. The hair length on our lead girl is medium. All we need to do, in order to achieve this look, is to pin the hair up from behind to the desired length. They are all wearing a headband of some sort covering the top of their forehead.

COSTUME:



For the Costume, we decided upon this dress. It is simple, modern and classy. This goes well with our modern, classy music video that we want to portray to the audience. The white colour of the dress connotes to the innocence and purity of the lead girl in the video, that the guys are trying to compete for her attention. This dress will allow the audience to distinguish the lead girl from the ordinary, every day clothing the extras will be wearing.
