Digipak Final (KC)

  1. Great Job Krishna. I really like the bright colours you've used in your Digipak. The bright colours are very eye catching for the audience which is a great feature to have as it will stand out on a CD stand against other plainer designs. It's a real improvement from the draft and works really well as a whole. I can tell you've worked hard and it shows, well done :)

  2. There's a significant improvement between Krish's draft and final design, however overall I believe she has done well. The decision to have a chosen coloured pattern across two panels was a good idea, and keeps the convention of pop originally being bright. However, i do believe that the choice of font is still something which needs to be looked at, as i believe it doesn't work well on the panels or the poster. I also believe that the lack of house style theme makes this digipak too complex to please the eye at times, and therefore would be something I would look at.
This product has levels of authenticity, however I believe that there are improvements which need making to ensure this can be finalised.

  3. You can see a great improvement from your draft to your final design of your digipak. The patterned, coloured panels are eye pleasing and are a pretty cool design but i dont like the plain coloured panels i think the pattern should have been spread across all panels to make it a bit more exciting. The bright colours suit your pop genre but i dont think your font does it looks to old school and retro to be on the cover of a pop didgipak. You have followed the forms and conventions of a digipak by including a bar code and a list of the songs available on the digipak.
Overall i like the design and ideas that have gone into creating your digipak but i do feel some little improvements stated would only suits your genre and audience much more, well done though.
