Representations (MK)

Who?
We are aiming to represent Young Adults in a positive way that will appeal to not only Young Adults themselves but also possibly older age groups as well. The music video may also appeal to older audiences because of the style and time period of the video. The 1920's style is appealing for multiple age groups because of its iconic nature which we will be taking advantage of because of the leading woman etc. The costumes will also be a way of representing Young Adults. This will be a slightly negative representation because we are aiming to accentuate how classic the leading woman is. This means that the majority of the women will look 'chavvy' on purpose. This will not be maliciously negative and only used for the purposes of the video. Most modern music videos will portray teens in a positive light and we want to continue this trend and not discriminate against any group of people.

What?
We are representing a teen party in which our two lead singers aim to find girls to be with. All of this is shown in a positive light and is meant to be fun loving and not taken seriously.

Where?
The location of our 'music video' shoot will be in the School Hall and will represent the genre of a typical 'teen' party. We think that we will portray this accurately due to the fact that we are in the peer group of our intended audience.

How?
We will try and continuously try and make sure that we keep the representation throughout our music video due to the fact that we do not want it to disrupt the story/performance during the video and we don't want our intended viewers to click away.
